Tattoo … WHY?
Years ago, my right arm was the strong one - I did everything with my right hand. I used to use my right hand for taking things, things that I needed (or grabbed).
After my stroke, my right hand is stiff and weaker, and I don’t use it. Now my left hand is stronger … to give, serve, love, to let the living water flow through me.
Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, rivers of living water will flow from within them. (John 7:37-38)
Every day, I am reminded of God’s spirit inside my body - rivers of living water - quiet, cool, playful, powerful, refreshing - flow through me to you.
